Korean media TheElec recently learned that the TCL CSOT Guangzhou project with a total investment of 35 billion yuan is progressing rapidly, and the procurement of production equipment has been started.
So far, South Korean equipment suppliers Charm Engineering, Top Engineering and DMS have successively received orders from Huaxing, of which Charm Engineering's orders are worth 13.4 billion won (about 70 million yuan).
Guangzhou CSOT new ultra-high-definition display "t9" project was signed last year. CSOT cooperated with the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and the Guangzhou Development Zone Management Committee to jointly build a new type of oxide semiconductor that can process about 180,000 pieces of 2250mm × 2600mm glass substrates per month. The display device production line, positioned as the world's first oxide panel production line for Micro-LED, adopts key technologies such as backlight Micro-LED hard screen, IGZO (indium germanium zinc oxide) TFT, liquid crystal FFS (fringe field switch) and the world's first The 4 mask Oxide technology, independently developed high mobility oxide materials, can produce larger size, higher refresh rate, higher resolution products. |
